Rotorua Stories is an active theatre special effects film experience in the Rotorua Museum of Art and History.  Completed in 1999, It unites the mythical, historical and geological stories of the area, and climaxes with the disastrous 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera. Dean designed and art-directed the film component as well as the theatre environment and effects.
