The first of the planned interpretation nodes on the site at Waitangi, this robust metal signage system tells two stories, one in English, the other in Maori. The stainless steel “Historymaster” is an automated version of the old school Viewmaster. Powered by a solar panel and activated by a button on the handle it contains seven illustrated views of historic events that were visible from this site. The accompanying soundtrack is in both English and Te reo.
